The best way to travel from Zurich is either by car or by train.
By train:
- Zurich Airport to Zurich Main Station (Zürich HB): The journey from Zurich Airport to Zurich Main Station takes about 10–15 minutes.
- Zurich Main Station (Zürich HB) to Chur: From Zurich Main Station, take a train to Chur. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the route.
- Chur to St. Moritz: From Chur, we recommend taking the Bernina Express. The ride from Chur to St. Moritz takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and offers breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps.
- St. Moritz station to Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz: Upon arrival at St. Moritz station, you can reach the Hotel Schweizerhof either by taking the escalator (about a 10-minute walk), while enjoying the St. Moritz Design Gallery along the way, or by letting us know your arrival time in advance so we can pick you up with the hotel shuttle bus.
By car:
- Car rental: You can rent a car at Zurich Airport or in the city and drive to St. Moritz. The journey takes about 3 to 3.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Simply follow the signs and directions to St. Moritz.

The Hotel Schweizerhof is located about 500 meters from St. Moritz train station and can easily be reached on foot. Leave the station, take the escalator towards the village center of St. Moritz, and follow the signs to the Hotel Schweizerhof.
Shuttle service:
Take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service! You can book the shuttle with us in advance to ensure that a vehicle will be waiting for you upon arrival.
On the day of arrival, you can usually check into your room from 3:00 p.m. Depending on availability, it may also be possible to access your room earlier. We recommend contacting us in advance with your arrival details to ensure your room is ready on time or to check whether an earlier check-in can be arranged.
Yes, the Hotel Schweizerhof offers a laundry service. You can either drop off your clothes at the reception or place them in the designated laundry bag in your room, and we will be happy to wash, iron, and return them neatly. The price list can be found in your room.
Yes! Dogs are not only allowed but warmly welcome! Please let us know at the time of booking that your four-legged friend will be joining you. We will be happy to prepare everything to ensure your dog enjoys the stay just as much as you do!
The Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz does not have air conditioning. This is because St. Moritz, due to its high altitude in the Swiss Alps, usually enjoys a cool and pleasant climate, even during the warmer months. Our guests can take advantage of the fresh mountain air and natural ventilation to stay comfortable.
All our rooms are equipped with a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. Coffee capsules and tea bags are replenished daily. We kindly ask for your understanding that the kettle may only be used for heating water.

Yes! The Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz is an excellent choice for visitors of the White Turf. The White Turf is a renowned horse racing event held on the frozen Lake St. Moritz, and the Hotel Schweizerhof is located just a short distance from the venue. What’s more, from our lake-view rooms, you can even watch this exciting event directly from the hotel!
On the day of departure, your room is available until 11:00 a.m. If you plan to spend more time in St. Moritz before leaving, you are welcome to leave your car parked with us (if you have one), or we can store your luggage in our guest depot until your departure.
For our hotel guests, a complimentary outdoor parking area is available (subject to availability), or we can park your car in our shared garage for CHF 25.00 per day.
We will issue your ski pass directly at the reception. You can choose between the “Sleep & Ski” pass for the entire duration of your stay or the “Snowdeal” pass for selected days. Both can be purchased at the reception. Please note that the “Sleep & Ski” pass must be ordered no later than on your day of arrival, as it is directly tied to the number of overnight stays.
We do not have a fitness room at the hotel. However, at the nearby Update Fitness in St. Moritz Dorf or St. Moritz Bad, you can purchase day passes or single entries.
The Chantarella valley station, where you can take the funicular up to Corviglia, is only a three-minute walk from the Hotel Schweizerhof.
